Nanoneem

NanoNeem is easy to use with a short waiting time and minimized enviromental footprints, thus benefiting the farrmers and community who are consuming the final agricultural products. It also helps solve the emergent issue of chemical pesticide overuse, protecting neem forests while improving income for local people by sustainably harvesting neem seeds and leaves

Project idea

NanoNeem offers transformation toward green, pro-health and environmentally begun pest
control practice at an affordable price. By combining the naturally available defense mechanism against pests in neem and other herbal plants with state-of-the-art nanotechnology, Nanoneem has excellent penetration properties, thus significantly enhancing the efficiency of natural ingredients.

Project Idea

>100,000 tons of pesicides

every year in Vietnam

1-1,4 billion $/ year

for diseases

Today, Vietnam is facing a huge social problem of the abuse of toxic pesticides. Since 2012, each year Vietnam consumes more than 100,000 tons of pesticides, equivalent to 3.6kg of pesticides/ha of agricultural land (while this figure in the US is only 1.2kg). This is the reason why Vietnamese farmers are suffering very high costs for diseases ranging from 1-1.4 billion USD/year, in addition to other negative impacts on consumers and economic losses. , because a large part of Vietnam’s economy comes from agricultural exports. The real root cause of this problem is farmers’ lack of access to effective biopesticides at reasonable prices.

But in fact, Vietnam has a lot of potential, especially in developing biological pesticides from substances found in nature. Neem seed and leaf extracts are a very powerful insecticide. Neem forests have been used for coastal protection in many areas but are now rapidly decreasing due to farming purposes.

Solution

We have combined raw materials from neem and other herbal plants with advanced technology to develop safe, effective, and affordable nano biopesticides. Our core technologies include fractional distillation, purification, and nanotechnology, which enable us to efficiently extract and control plant-based active ingredients and convert them into nano-sized particles.

Substances found in nature are easy to degrade but when they are encapsulated in nano-sized particles, they have enhanced efficiency, and higher stability with a significantly reduced rate (lower cost). The great thing about this approach is that by manipulating the ingredients, we can tailor the properties of the product and create an ecosystem of green products such as pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, etc. stimulate growth…

Especially with neem, the great thing about this approach is that by tweaking the ingredients, we can tailor the properties of the product and create an ecosystem of green products like pesticides, herbicides, stimulants, etc. like growth… Especially with neem trees, we only use neem seeds and leaves, which helps us to sustainably protect the neem forest while creating jobs for local people. We can make a profit and at the same time make a huge social impact.
