After nearly 5 months of the second round (Training and Mentoring), the global innovation competition, Hack4Growth Unlimited! 2021, has reached its final stage to select deserving champions. On the evening of November 26, the NanoNeem project once again received the prestigious title of grand winner, successfully completing the journey with innovative, fresh, and highly practical ideas.
The NanoNeem team presented an optimal solution for farmers and consumers, offering effective pest control solutions derived from herbal sources such as neem, white mulberry, and cinnamon. These alternatives replace harmful chemical pesticides. Utilizing advanced nano-technology, the team encapsulated pest control agents in nano-particles ranging from 10-100nm, enhancing efficiency, permeability, and employing a controlled release mechanism. With competitive pricing, NanoNeem’s product is poised to deliver efficiency and optimal support for farmers. Moreover, the project contributes to the conservation of neem forests, the green lungs of Central Vietnam.
